Reconstruction/renovation of temples
Renovation, reconstruction of the temple, Kumbhabhishek etc. are all considered extremely virtuous deeds. We all should do whatever we can for this and earn virtuous deeds. Whatever we offer may be a brick, but as long as that brick is in that temple, we will spend the same amount of time (thousands of years) in Kailash or Vaikuntha.
Stopping atrocities on Hindu religion and Hindus
There have been several other recent attacks on Hindu temples and Hindus by Muslim extremists in India. Prominent among them are the 1998 Chamba massacre, the 2002 suicide attack on the Raghunath temple, the 2002 Akshardham temple attack, which were allegedly carried out by the Islamic terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba.And 2006 Varanasi bombings were also believed to have been carried out by Lashkar-e-Taiba. Which resulted in several deaths and injuries.
